**The warmest memory I have of my childhood are Christmas lights. :) My Grandfather used to put them up just for me and leave it hanging for months on end. My Grandfather once turned on a song that I can't remember, and we both danced. He told me that I was the best dancer in the world and I believed it for many years.. :)

**Local market. There was a tiny little market in my neighborhood in Korea. My Grandfather took me and my friend to the market and told us we could get ANYTHING we wanted. Everytime I go to a local Korean grocer, I think of my Grandpa when I see the colorful packagings of yummy goods.

**My first bag of peanut M&M's! When my Dad came to visit me in Korea, he brought me the giant bag of peanut M&M's. I have never seen such a huge bag of chocolate before and I don't think we had those in Korea then. Nonetheless, I took the bag around the whole neighborhood showing it off without sharing. I ended up with a horrible stomach ache.

**Mountain Spring Water. My fiance once said, "You know we're spoiled when we sell filtered tap water.". When I was about the age of 5 or 6, we lived near the mountains. It wasn't the country side or anything but Korea is pretty small to start with so yeah... Anyways, my Grandmother would wake me early in the morning to fetch some spring water just a quarter of a mile away from my home. There would be a long line of people waiting to fetch their fresh spring water and I'd be there with two big jugs. :) I'd fill them up half way only to bring them home nearly empty from spilling it on the way. Everytime I see bottled water from the grocers, I think of that moment.
**Sandals. When I'm shopping for shoes for my Daughter, I check to make sure it's durable and well stitched (non-glued). Once when I was young, I went for a short hike/walk with my Aunts and Uncles to the mountain for some fresh air. The sole of my sandal fell off and I ended up being carried home. Although nice to be carried home, it was frustrating trying to waddle for a few minutes until they had realized what had happened. :)
**Barber shops. I know.. barber shops? At about the age of 6, my hair came down to my hip. I guess my Great-Grandmother got tired of doing my hair because she took me to the barber shop, and
literally had the man give me a bowl cut. Yes, he put a bowl on my head. :( The length of hair i have now is the longest my hair has been since then.

**Grey hound buses. My Grandfather was a Grey hound bus driver.. or something of that sort (I don't remember exactly for what company but it was like a grey hound!). He let me go on a trip with him once on a trip for college students. I was allowed to sit in the way front with the college students singing. :)
When we are young, we wish to become an adult fast. But once we become an adult, we day dream of our childhood. :) All in all, time flies too fast. So here it is!!
I'd like I dare everyone to share their fondest memories of their childhood. :) It'd be nice if you could link me to your blog too!! I'd love to read yours.
