I've totally been slacking off lately but in a way I'm still gathering myself from my awesome birthday week. I didn't do much as I prefer to keep my birthday close and simple, but my fiance took me out the whole day to treasure hunt which was better than anything!
Anyways!! A lot has happened, or so it seems to me at least. First, I FINALLY got my schooling together and I'm due to start next month. Although it may not seem like it, I actually LOVE school! I've always loved it since I was very young with my first school memory being Preschool. In Korea, my preschool teacher would walk around and pick up every one of her students each morning. Then we'd all walk to school together holding hands. :)
My fiance bought me a camera that I've been dying to have; a Diana F+ and I've been having a great time experimenting with it! I haven't finished my first roll of film yet for I've been very careful as to what I was taking a picture of. But I've been writing each setting down from the light to shutter speed.. and also pinpoint photography! :D :D :D
My sister, little brother, and cousin also bought me a beautiful bottle of champagne. I thought she'd be predictable and go for a bottle of wine -since I'm a wine lover- but instead she went spontaneous and caught me off guard. I didn't take a picture of the bottle on my digital but I did on my Diana so until I get those printed, I won't have any proof to show you how pretty the bottle was. It actually took me a while to open the darn thing because I didn't want to ruin the prettiness of it, but my fiance and I ended up killing the whole bottle within a few hours. As cute as my sister is, she also signed a quarter and gifted it to me in celebration of my 25th birthday year.
I also got my geek glasses! I've been wanting a huge frame lately due to my sudden change in style and I LOVE IT! Once again, thank you Honey for fulfilling my geeky appetite.
I also finished crocheting my hat. :) I don't have a good picture of it, but here's one with the hat on. It's been added to my favorite of hats and I wear it pretty much every chance I get. :)
I've also finished cutting up a t-shirt! Of all the little experiments that I've been doing with t-shirt cutting, I have to say that this is my favorite! :) It's a really bad picture but once again, I really don't have another one.. :T
While I was making breakfast one morning, I came across an egg with two yolks inside. I was talking to my fiance on the phone and he commented on how the egg that I was frying could have been twins and instantly made me feel guilty. :(
From left to right: Kayla, myself, Crystal, and Kaitlin. :) Photo taken at Larchmont Elementary on our last day as a 5th grader. :)
I thought my Dad looked oh-so-handsome. :) My sister Yina.
:D I'm the one with the red headband on the right.

When I was a child, I used to jump off swings with my friends to see who could jump off the farthest. Now I'm scared of scraping a knee against the tree.
“Too
many people grow up. That's the real trouble with the world, too many
people grow up. They forget. They don't remember what it's like to be
12 years old. They patronize, they treat children as inferiors. Well I
won't do that.” - Walt Disney
I was having a talk with my fiance the other night and I told him that I envy those who are naive and sheltered. He admires me for what he calls 'having common sense' and knowing the lifestyle of being sheltered and the knowledge of the streets, but I do envy those that don't.
I remember just a few years ago when I wasn't afraid of anything and some might argue that it's better to be smart than stupid. But knowing too much can be just as fatal as not knowing anything. I think knowing too much is stressful because for me, I fear everything now.
Growing up I heard the term 'the world is a scary place' many, many times. But I never got the meaning until recently and I hate it.
I want to be young again... or at least see the world in the eyes of a child once more.

Day Seven
I cheated on day seven. My fiance took that picture but I used it because I didn't take a nice picture for day seven. For the eighth day picture, I had set the camera on top of my step brother's car and put it on time-mode. It took me a little over an hour to get it the way I wanted, but I feel it's time well spent.
I'm going to add another category to my blog and call it Weekly Themes. Each week I'm going to write about a subject. With my amount of hobbies I haven't been able to spend time on my blog, or do I even have a subject to write about. Hopefully this new idea would help me with keeping up with my blog as well. :)
I also spent a few hours before bed working on a hippy headband. :) It's set on a white ribbon with a bow made of sheer sea-green fabric. I also added some pearls on the ribbon... but it looks like it'd fit my Daughter more so than me. :) I've also been making tons of bows I have no use for other than for my Daughter's hair accessories. Pictures of these are soon to come.. I'm at my fiance's house for the weekend and I didn't bring my headband here.

When I was at the age of 13, I had been diagnosed with scoliosis. If you don't know what scoliosis is, please, feel free to click HERE. I was scared to death at discovering the news and especially after having found out that I would need a surgery to treat my 'condition'. I had not realized my back was in such a bad state. Matter of fact, I didn't even know that my back would naturally curve to the side as if I was leaning.
Not that many people know of the scar on my back. A scar that I've loved since after my surgery. I have a brace inside my body to hold my spine straight and you can even feel the bolt that holds it together.
At times when people ask me what it is, I jokingly say that someone I got into a fight with took a sword to my back. Their facial expression is amusing, but of course I would tell them about my surgery. I'm proud of it.
Btw, I still remember the name of my Surgeon. :) Dr. Nicholas Rajacich. Looky!
Hello Dr. Rajacich! You probably don't remember me, but I still have the scar on my leg from when one of your nurses accidentally cut me. :T So.. yeah, anyways., thank you!
I'm soon to be married to my highschool sweetheart. :) Congratulate me, now.
